Cultural Landscapes and Built Heritage: Landscapes provide the context to archaeological sites and cultural practices, and buildings hold more or less significance based on their age, form, function and placement on the land. We provide quality building and landscape evaluations to address development requirements derived from the Ontario Heritage Act Parts IV and V.

Community Engagement: Our staff will facilitate meaningful community engagement, recording and compiling data of value to First Nation communities and development proponents. This data can take many forms, from support to archaeological assessments, to capturing intangible values (stories, histories, traditions).

Policy Development: Indigenous communities are increasingly looking to develop policy on archaeological assessment and engagement in traditional territories. We are available to assist and advise on the development of policies related to archaeology, heritage and land use planning at the provincial, municipal, community or project level.
